Fallen Tree Roof Damage Repair in Reedsport, OR

Fallen Tree Roof Damage Repair in Reedsport, OR

Fallen tree roof damage repair covers everything from removing the limb to rebuilding the structure underneath it. Reedsport, OR Storm Damage Roof Repair handles the full sequence across Reedsport, OR, and it is the one storm scenario where the roof is often the smaller problem.

A branch through a roof does not stop at the shingles. It breaks decking, and frequently cracks or displaces a rafter or truss chord beneath. That is structural work, and it needs assessing before anyone starts patching the covering. We have seen repairs where the hole was closed neatly over a rafter that had been split its full depth.

The first decision on site is whether to move the tree at all. A large limb resting on a roof is sometimes doing you a favour by holding the opening partly closed, and pulling it off without preparation can widen the damage considerably. We plan the lift, have the tarp ready, and cover as the weight comes away.

Then we assess framing, replace broken decking, rebuild the covering, and check the ceiling below for water that has already got in.

Do not go up to look yourself. Storm-damaged roofs with impact damage are genuinely unsafe to walk.

Call (877) 864-7730 and we will come and assess it.
